When the art came out of nowhere circa September 2011, I spent a good year or so on fire with it, but as these things go, I've slowed down considerably. I could write a really long essay on why this is so, but it would be really boring. In fact as someone who used to do a lot of writing (I wrote for several music magazines in the 90s-00s and then founded Olfactory Rescue Service towards the end of the 00s), I really don't write much anymore. Since September 2012, life has gotten a lot more interesting and a lot of times I feel like I'm barely keeping up with it and I sure as hell couldn't easily explain it except that I get happier and more centered as I go. But the trick to this is that at certain points the universe likes to throw surprise tests and so a lot of my energy goes to resolving these things. Most of these things tend to confound ego and rationality and so they don't generally bear up to writing about them. Anyway with all that said I do have a new piece percolating and some time on the horizon to hopefully get it done, so there should be new stuff here at some point.
